Where every child can shine

Every child can be good at learning. Most just haven't been taught in a way that works for them yet.

GiftED began with a simple frustration. Sara Maharaj watched children work hard at tutoring every week and still struggle in class on Monday. The worksheets got done, but nothing stuck. Worse, the joy had gone out of it. Learning had become a chore to be endured rather than something to be proud of.

So she built the kind of place she wished existed. A learning library, not a classroom: small rooms, warm tutors, shelves of real books, and a program shaped around each child rather than the other way round. Children here are grouped by stage and taught at their own level, with a clear weekly topic and work that is explained properly, practised properly and understood before moving on. When it clicks, you see it at school.

Just as important, children like coming. Confidence grows when work makes sense, and a child who feels capable will reach for more. That is what we mean by gifted: not a label for a few, but what happens when any child is taught well.
